Assassin’s Creed II

After an amazing two years for XBOX games, this was not exactly a banner year for XBOX 360, with several big titles being pushed to next year. However, cross-platform titles really shined on the system with a few great exclusices. These are my top  five games.

Assassin’s Creed II
The original was a good game, this is a great game. It is better than the original in every way and has a stronger sense of focus preventing you from growing bored with the now very enjoyable open world.

Batman: Arkham Asylum
Simply put this is the best comic book videogame every made. An excellent story that feels like it is part of the Batman canon with undeniably fun game play. Top it off with great voice acting and a score that really sets the mood. You will love this game.

Halo 3: ODST
Hey, I’m a sucker for halo and this game changed Halo to give it a new feeling while staying true to the others in the series. With a great campaign and a new co-operative mode similar to Horde in Gears of War 2, this game will hold your interest for weeks.

Modern Warfare 2
Its a short single player campaign but its full of fun and plenty of “Oh sh–” moments. The multiplayer is even more extensive than the first and this stands as one of the very best first person shooters available.

Forza 3
This is the best racing game yet for this generation of consoles. Smooth controls for a sim racer that is great for those new to the genre or those very experienced with it. All cars being unlocked from the get-go and a new rewind feature help to differentiate it from other sims.
