The 31st Annual RAZZIE Awards Nominees

It is now the time to celebrate all the awful things Hollywood did in 2010 as the Nominees for The 31st Annual RAZZIE Awards were announced today. Leading the pack with the most nominees was a tie between The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and The Last Airbender, both receiving nine nominations. Which I believe is a little harsh on M. Night Shyamalan’s  Airbender. The Razzies also grabbed Jessica Alba for Worst Supporting Actress in every film she made this year, now that’s a blow to anyone.

The award I’m most looking forward to is the brand-new RAZZIE category for 2010, Worst Eye-Gouging Mis-Use of 3-D. If you visit this site often you know that we have a great disdain for Hollywood pimping thier movies with a little 3D to pump up their Box Office returns. So it’s good to see a little official backlash against them.

The 31st Annual RAZZIE Awards will be named the night before the Oscars on Saturday, February 26.

I’m glad to see that Eclipse is getting the recognition it deserves! I’m also happy to see a new 3D category. However, I don’t think the women of ‘Sex and the City’ were that bad, they were just given bad material.
