Sci-fi Getting Some Respect With Producers Guild

The Producers Guild of America is showing some love for sci-fi this year. Among it’s nominations for best picture are Star Trek (my personal favorite this year), District 9 and Avatar. Now that they pick 10 films to be nominated each year, it is a lot easier to get on the list. Regardless, it’s about time we get some movies in there that people like… and have actually seen. And it’d be great not to be forced to pick up one of those, “20 movies you must see before Oscar night” lists just so you’ve at least heard of the winners. Read more about the PGA picks
