Now ‘Planet Of The Apes’ Is Getting The Reboot

Two weeks ago we officially go the word that Spider-Man would receive the reboot and now Planet Of The Apes is officially back on track to get a make over. More evidence that Hollywood’s lost all creativity and originality, they cant even see further back then a decade to get it’s ideas. Apes reboot has been circleling around a few years, a little surprising since the last Apes movie was only in 2001. Anyway, Vulture is reporting that Former President of News Corp. and now Fox producer Peter Chernin has taken over, Fox Movies is expecting to hire a director very soon and put the Apes reboot on the fast track.

I liked the 2001 remake. Why was the sequel never done? Poor boxoffice performance?
