It looks like David Slade is becoming the vampire man in Hollywood. Slade started his journey back in 2007 with the bloody and brutal “real” vampire film, 30 Days of Night. Then Slade took on the “not so real” vampire film Twilight: Eclipse, now THR is reporting he has boarded The Last Voyage of the Demeter. The period horror film is based on a segment of Bram Stoker’s Dracula which recounts the legend of the ship which transported the famous vampire from Transylvania to England.
Of course Slade will not be on his next vampire journey alone. According to Bleeding Cool, the The Last Voyage of the Demeter producers are currently in talks with Jude Law to join Slade on this vampire Voyage. Law would join Ben Kingsley and Noomi Rapace (Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) who are already attached. Rapace also just signed on for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus.
