Last week on The Office Robert California shot down Dwight Schrute’s (Rainn Wilson) best chance to finally get promoted and out Scranton by scapping the Sabre Store project. It was good for us to see Dwight return but unfortunately Todd Packer got the ax in the process. Luckily though Nellie Bertram (Catherine Tate) is also looking for a new position in the company and is also heading back to Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch.

Is it possible that she will become the new boss? This could be a much needed boost in the flailing show. As ever since Steve Carell left there has been a void and lack of cohesion that has plagued the season. Maybe Tate permanently taking over the role can get The Office back on track and start producing some great shows that we all loved and enjoyed in the early years. Tate has done a great job while her character has been in Tallahassee and if this clip of her return to Scranton is any indication of what she’ll do up north, I’m all in!
