‘Alice In Wonderland’ Blows Past ‘Avatar’ For 3D Opening With $115+ Million

After just three days Alice In Wonderland is the highest grossing movie released in 2010 so far. The Estimated weekend in take is $116.3 Million, just over my estimate of $105 million (not too bad). Alice also broke Avatar’s ($77 m) record for the biggest 3D release. This is great new for Disney, who must have been getting worried with the very mediocre reviews Alice received across the board. So Alice beat Avatar‘s opening weekend, will in beat Avatar‘s total gross? Not even in wonderland! (Deadline)

On an unrelated note, I demand to know your accuracy rating regarding Oscar predictions.
I can’t say now. No one would believe me. But I only got two wrong, not including the short or foreign film which I did not pick one.
